Commonly used various water rescue equipment

1. Rescue circle

(1) Tie the rescue ring to the floating water rope.

(2) Quickly throw the rescue ring to the person who fell into the water. The rescue ring should be thrown to the upper wind of the person who fell into the water. If there is no wind, the rescue ring should be thrown as close to the person who fell into the water as possible.

(3) If the throwing location is too far away from the drowning person, consider taking it back and throwing it again.

2. Floating braided rope

(1) When using, keep the floating rope itself smooth and not knotted, so that it can be used quickly during disaster relief.

(2) The floating water rope is a special rope for water rescue. Do not use it for other purposes such as land rescue.

3. Throwing rope gun (barrel)

(1) Before filling the gas cylinder, pay attention to whether the safety switch is closed, check the O-ring in the joint, and confirm that the joint has been fixed.

(2) When inflating, the pressure should not exceed its specified pressure. After filling the air, the air in the high-pressure pipe must be released before it can be removed.

(3) When launching the rope gun (barrel), the rope should be placed obliquely in front, and it is not reliable to get too close to yourself, so as to avoid being caught by the rope when launching.

(4) When firing, it must be pressed against the gun (barrel) body to keep itself stable to reduce the impact of recoil when firing.

(5) Do not launch directly towards the trapped person when launching.

(6) The mouth of the rope-throwing gun (barrel) must never be pointed at people to avoid misfire accidents.

(7) The rope-throwing gun (barrel) must be carefully maintained to prevent accidental use.

4. Torpedo buoy

Swimming rescue can be used in conjunction with torpedo buoys, which is more effective and safer.

5. Throwing rope bag

(1) After taking out the rope throwing bag, grasp the rope loop at one end with your hand. Do not wrap the rope around your wrist or fix it on your body to avoid being pulled away during rescue.

(2) The rescuer should lower the center of gravity, or put their feet against trees or boulders to increase stability and avoid instant tension. the

6. Rescue suit

(1) Adjust the belts on both sides of the waist, and the tightness should be as moderate as possible to prevent people from falling into the water and slipping off.

(2) Put the two straps behind the buttocks around the lower part of the hip and combine them with the buckle under the abdomen to adjust the tightness. The tightness should be as moderate as possible to prevent people from falling into the water and slipping off their heads.

(3) Before use, check whether the rescue suit is damaged or the belt is broken.

7. Rapid rescue suit

(1) Adjust the belts on both sides of the waist, and make them as tight as possible to prevent people from falling into the water and slipping off.

8. Dry winter clothing

(1) Dry-type cold-proof clothing is generally made in sets, and in order to maintain its function, it is the principle for the distribution personnel to use it.

(2) Before use, check whether there is any damage to the whole, whether the connection of the pipelines and the surrounding parts are damaged, and after the dressing is completed, the inflation and exhaust device should be tested to confirm the normal operation.

(3) Before putting on the dry winter clothes and going into the water, carefully check the positioning of each component.

(4) The use of dry winter clothing requires professional training, and it is not recommended to use it without training.
