Daily maintenance of fire trucks

Fire trucks can spray water under a certain pressure, which plays a very important role in fire fighting. If you want it to have a longer service life, you must do a good job of daily maintenance when it is not in use. Accumulated maintenance can prolong the life and reduce the occurrence of some failures. How should we do daily maintenance?

1,Seasonal maintenance. Divided into rainy season and dry season:

1). In the rainy season, the brakes should be well maintained, especially unilateral brakes should be excluded. The brakes are harder and smoother than usual.

2). In the dry season, the brake water system must be fully functional. When running a long distance, pay attention to adding drip water; the fan belt is important.

2, the initial driving maintenance.

Make sure that the various indicator lights are on and the functions are in good condition. The siren and the intercom platform are working normally, and the police lights are on, turning, and flashing. Various instruments of the fire truck are working normally. The water pump keeps the butter plentiful. Check whether the screws of the entire system of the rotating shaft are loose.

3, routine maintenance.

1). Fire trucks in combat readiness must be air-pressured for safe driving. Check the barometer after a while to see if the air pressure is on safe driving. Use high-concentration soap and washing powder water, and use a brush to paint on the trachea joint. If there are bubbles, it proves that there is an air leak, and it should be replaced in time. Close to the master pump, listen to the sound for air leakage, or apply soapy water to see if there are bubbles in the remaining air holes. If there is air leakage, check the master cylinder spring and sealing ring, and replace it.

2). Keep the air pressure of the four wheels sufficient and equal. Most of the weight is on the rear wheel. The easy way is to hit the tire with a hammer or iron rod. It is normal for the tire to have elasticity and vibration. On the contrary, the elasticity is not strong and the vibration is weak, which means insufficient air pressure. Ensure sufficient oil, water, electricity and gas.

4, parking maintenance.

1). When the fire truck is not moving, it should be charged frequently. It is a gasoline car that needs to pull the accelerator properly, and it is better to see that the charge meter is positively charged. It is advisable to charge more than ten minutes after each start.

2). When the vehicle stops in place, check whether there is oil dripping on the ground and whether there is oil on the ground. If it is necessary to check whether the screws are loose, check the gasket if necessary.

5, regular maintenance.

1). Carry out regular four-wheel maintenance, buttering, engine oil and gear oil replacement.

2). Whether the battery is charged, especially when the battery expires, pay attention to replace it.

The daily maintenance of fire trucks can be divided into many categories. During maintenance, we should also clean them in time to keep the vehicles clean. In addition, more inspections must be done when not in use, especially the parts that are prone to failure must be strengthened to prevent failures.
